Gas Leak in Green River

Urgent Announcement: Green River High School Closure

Good morning,

Due to a significant gas leak, Green River High School was evacuated and is now closed for the remainder of the day.

While the gas has been shut off and repairs are underway, we are waiting for a qualified official to test the building and confirm it is safe to re-enter. This official is at least two hours away.

School administration is currently working to reunify students with their parents. Please refer to communications from the school for more details. We will provide an update as soon as the building has been cleared.

Summer Lunch

We’re excited to let you know that our Summer Lunch Program has officially started! All meals are free to any child under 18. Each day’s pickup will include lunch for today and breakfast for tomorrow. Weekend meals will be included with Friday’s pickup.
